Calculating your cost per download

The average Cost Per Download (CPD) varies across app categories and is often reflective of how competitive that category is. Where there are many apps with a similar offering and an opportunity for good return on investment, the CPD is typically high.

For example, finance apps tend to have high CPD goals. But most importantly, the CPD has to work for your strategy, whether this be increasing the user base of your new app or paying less for a download than the revenue you generate from the average user.

Please note that the Redbox Platform allows you to specify a CPD for "Normal Keywords" and "Boosted Keywords".

Normal keywords are automatically generated by the platform and Boosted Keywords are manually added by you.
